Foreign Automotive’s auto repair shop was opened in 1977 by Michael and Donna Manicke. After 42 years in the auto repair business, Michael has earned a reputation of performing top quality repairs for both foreign and domestic vehicles.
We service all makes and models of foreign and domestic autos from minor tune-ups to major overhauls.
Mike is an ASE Certified Master automobile technician specializing in all areas of the mechanical needs of foreign auto repair and domestic auto repair.
Mike Manicke is the owner and founder of Foreign Automotive.
He began his love affair with foreign automobiles in 1974 after purchasing a 1963 VW Beetle for $50. After his dad moved his Sign Business, Mike took over the building and began tinkering with cars in earnest.
He officially started Foreign Automotive Service July 7, 1977 and hasn’t looked back. Mike has an active interest in restoring vintage cars and continues to pursue his love of off-road racing.
Lissa Manicke, who is Mike’s sister, joined our team in 2004.
She is a certified Service Writer and Office Manager who takes pride in the ability to use terminology that women can understand, as well as talk the talk with men.
